HEY JUST A QUICK UPDATE
We’ve been busy over the last month or so sorting out what, when, & where etc. etc. May was extremely busy & left the label a bit tapped both creatively & financially, but we’re gearing up for a couple of road shows in August with Hipnautica, Voodoo Velkro, & Pain Tribe. We’ll be @ the Dragon’s Den(Aug. 10th) & the HiHo(Aug. 12th) in New Orleans, La.(see flyer) Other Than that I (johngomi) working on new mixes, playing bass, & developing to sounds as city of hungry ghosts.

live improv with ableton

this is what we did last night for the open labs NAMM streamcast. its a trip hop-like set with STHIL plus Kusser doing an improv set. only one pre-thought-recorded song is in here (3rd one). rest is off the cuff. usually, i don’t do breaks into between songs but this was a bit different. usually we just do one continuous stream of music. also, ableton makes it easy to bang out notes, i’m quickish with the trackball. of course it helps to have two talented people helping me. of course i’m the white guy on the left. jenn is in the middle, kusser on the right.
